Welcome and thank you for being here!
Here’s a little information about me, my background and what makes me tick but in case you’re thinking this is going to be about all things digital, stick with me.
Digital, Lego and Labradoodles!
I’m Director of 49digital, a successful web design and user experience agency based in Newcastle upon Tyne and founded in beautiful Vancouver on the west coast of Canada in 2010. (If any of you happen to know your geographical parallels you win the prize for working out what the ’49’ stands for!)
I’ve spent the past eight years working with a wide range of businesses and organisations, helping them to deliver more to their clients whilst building their brand and genuinely improving their results.
Over the past 12 months or so I’ve been working on my new UX consultancy which offers very much a one-to-one style of working as well as taking bookings for speaking engagements and workshops.
When I’m not doing digital things, you can find me…wait for it…building Lego! Not just any Lego, Lego Architecture! I’m a collector of the Lego Architecture range and my office is full of them. I even have a one metre long model of the Tyne Bridge and another of Durham Cathedral alongside my favourite Frank Lloyd Wright building, Fallingwater and the Eiffel Tower!
If I’m not building Lego then I’m walking our three Labradoodles, Odie, Oska and Barney or attending a local Bootcamp to help keep my mind sharp!
Do get in touch if you think I can help your business nail down digital or if you’re looking for a speaker for a digital or industry event.
