Today I ordered learner driver car insurance for my daughter. It’s a good deal. Around £120 for three months car insurance with no affect on the main driver even if she does put it in a ditch!
I used the Veygo website to get her sorted. It was going swimmingly. I really liked the experience; easy to use, just the right number of fields to get the information they required and no more. Some positive micro-interactions that gave me that warm, fuzzy feeling inside. I was on my way to passing go and paying circa £120.
After fetching my Amex from upstairs, I carefully entered my name (first green tick/positive interaction), card number (arrival of Amex logo/second green tick/positive interaction).
They accept Amex – yippee! Popped in the expiry date (third green tick/positive interaction), entered the CVV code and I’ve got a full house!
Clicked the ‘Buy Now’ button.
You know what’s coming…
Yep, big red box. Error. We don’t take Amex cards.
