Fifteen delegates from a wide range of IT, digital and creative and design roles attended a User Experience workshop I hosted in partnership with Design Network North last week. The three hour session was packed with activities including buyer persona creation, user journey planning, website auditing and navigation design.
The overall aim of the workshop was to kickstart a change within companies and organisations to a more buyer-centric approach in how they present themselves online. The first activity certainly got the group thinking about who their users are and what they think about their company – there were some revelations!
The feedback from the workshop has been fantastic and there have been already been requests for my team to deliver more workshops covering topics such as interaction design and information architecture.
